Leader of the Bhim Nation, Stonebwoy has finally revealed that contrary to what most people thought, his brawl with fellow artiste Shatta Wale at the 2019 VGMAs was never intended.
Lots of Ghanaians and music lovers believed the rivalry between the two top artistes was just to sell their brands; and the clash at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA19) was only for hype.
But speaking on the United Showbiz show on UTV, Stonebwoy cleared the air, saying that, he had no such plans with Shatta prior to the big night,
“People say my colleague and I had planned what happened that night but it’s not true, it wasn’t a planned thing. It shows you how serious the music industry is”, he said.
Further talking about lessons the night has brought him, the ‘nominate’ crooner says he has chosen to forget about the awfulness of the night and rather focus on the positives the night taught him.
“I’ve talked about this issue countless times on different platforms across the world but I don’t dwell on the negative side of it. The beautiful thing is that today we sleep peacefully, we wake and call each other on the phone and we are all focusing on our works now and moving forward”, he stated.
