Stop endangering the lives of our children – Afia Schwarzenegger to Akufo Addo

Controversial TV and radio personality Afia Schwarzenegger has sent a message to the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to stop putting the lives of school children at risk.

Taking to her Instagram page, Afia says she has stopped her kids from going to school for fear of Covid-19 which has found a way to infiltrate the schools despite the safety measures put in place.

She went on to appeal to the president to let the kids repeat the year if it will save their lives and prevent them from contracting the deadly virus.

Speaking in a video she posted on her YouTube page, Afia Schwarzenegger said:

“As a mother, I became scared after hearing about the students who were infected by the virus. As a citizen and not a spectator, I am worried”. She stated in the video.

Mr. President, if you have not heard, Accra Girls Senior High School, six students have contracted coronavirus. At KNUST SHS, a child died, none of the teachers assisted him because of fear of coronavirus. Kumasi High allegedly has recorded cases, so what are you doing about it? What is the ministry doing? Or you are looking on for this to get out of hand before something is done Mr. President? What at all will happen if they don’t write the exams? Are you waiting for all the children to get infected?”
