Controversial Ghanaian legislator, Kennedy Agyapong, has revealed there was once a time when he actually did like the leader of the opposition NDC, John Mahama.
According to the Assin Central MP, Mahama’s gentle demeanour, communication prowess and distinctive personality won his heart.
“I fell in love with Mahama in Parliament; he was very gentle and spoke very well,” he stated while reacting to his recent comments on the campaign trail.
However, Kennedy Agyapong says this love was only but a nine-day wonder after, according to him, the NDC flagbearer made fun of an MP from the Ashanti Region because his English wasn’t the best.
“When Mahama decided to mock former MP for Nsuta-Kwamang Beposo, Kwame Osei Prempeh, I lost the love I have for him,” he stated.
He went on to state that the endearing personality of John Dramani Mahama has waned because of his utterances and relentless desire to win power.
