Nigerians in Ghana have today picketed at the Nigerian High Commission here in Accra as they join their brothers back home to end police brutality in the country.
Nigerians have over the last two weeks, been protesting the banning of a rogue police unit, SARS and also demanding for better governance from their government.
Last night, what started as a peaceful protest generated into violence, when the military attacked the peaceful protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate and rained rounds of bullets on them.
Nigerians all over the world have taken to the streets and to the offices of their high commissioners and ambassadors to seek an intervention in matters happening back home.
As at now, the president of the country is yet to formally address his people but has called for everyone to remain calm and for protestors to desist from causing further damage to property.
